Later this summer, Wilson Park in downtown Eau Claire will once again be the epicenter for what is quickly becoming a favorite festival - Chalkfest, an all-day celebration of creativity and sidewalk chalk art, music and food on August 8th that culminates in a night reception with the entire park flooded with lights that focus on the sidewalk art. Being on the other end of summer, why should I talk about this now? Because registration for artists just opened on www.chalkfest.org.
